The Challenge
Language schools were managing teachers, students, scheduling, and lesson content across spreadsheets, WhatsApp threads, and disconnected tools. The operational overhead was high and the experience for both teachers and admins was fragile. We built Noterra to solve this end to end — and to prove that the systems thinking we bring to client work holds up in a real, day-to-day production environment.
What We Built
- Multi-tenant architecture with full school-level data isolation and independent admin environments
- Role-based access flows for school admins, teachers, and students — each with purpose-built interfaces
- Centralised scheduling system replacing manual calendar management and WhatsApp coordination
- AI-assisted lesson content generation to reduce teacher preparation time
- Student progress tracking, attendance records, and automated reporting for school administrators
- Third-party integrations for payments and video lessons
- End-to-end product ownership: infrastructure, deployment, support, and continuous iteration
The Result
A production system actively used by language schools and their teachers. Multi-tenant architecture supports independent schools running on the same platform with isolated data and admin. Scheduling, reporting, and lesson workflows replaced fully. Aiki Labs owns and operates the product — from architecture decisions to day-to-day uptime.
