Pimcore maintenance and custom software for manufacturers
We maintain Pimcore for manufacturers in Austria and Germany, and build the internal tools and automation around it.
The studio is new. The operations experience behind it is not.
2 years
administering a production Pimcore instance
4 systems
PIM, DAM, CRM and translation, kept in sync
Multi-market
regulated medical device catalogue
Who we help
Built for teams buried in manual work
These are the three situations companies come to us with.
Has your product data outgrown its tools?
- A Pimcore instance several versions behind, with nobody owning the upgrade
- Change requests that take weeks and come back priced out of proportion
- The ERP export shifts a column and the sync breaks somewhere downstream
- The one person who understood the data model has left the company
We maintain and extend Pimcore instances, including the ones we did not build, and we fix the data model underneath rather than working around it.
Is a spreadsheet running something critical?
- Version conflicts, and nobody knows which file is current
- Manual reports that take hours to assemble every week
- One person holds all the knowledge, and the process stops when they are away
We build the dashboard or tool that replaces the spreadsheet and enforces the process automatically.
Is someone retyping data between systems?
- Re-entering the same data across different platforms
- Zapier automations that break when anything changes
- No single view of what is actually happening in operations
We build a connected internal system with one source of truth, one interface, and one team that maintains it.
Latest project
A client portal, and the agency system behind it
Our newest build is the platform we now run Aiki Labs on. An admin app handles projects, agile boards, time tracking, and invoicing. A client portal shows the same data live: budget burn, ticket boards, sprint timelines, deliverables, invoices. No status emails, no sync jobs, one database.
- Live budget burn computed from logged billable time
- Agile boards, sprints, and timelines shared with the client
- Invoicing from time entry to compliant PDF in one flow
- Automatic event notifications and weekly client digests
Why teams call us
What clients keep us around for
The situations teams actually call us about, not a pitch.
01
Inheriting a Pimcore nobody owns
Taking over a Pimcore instance we didn't build, reading the data model, and getting it current, instead of quoting a rebuild.
02
Retiring a spreadsheet that runs the business
Turning a spreadsheet that had quietly become business-critical into a system that enforces the process instead of hoping people follow it.
03
Making the work visible to both sides
Putting the work, the hours, and the invoices in one place both sides can see, so "what got done and what did it cost" stops being a meeting.
Free operations diagnostic
Find your biggest operations bottleneck in 3 minutes
Twelve questions, an immediate diagnosis, and next steps by email. No call required to get the result.
Our tech stack
The tools behind the systems we ship
Pimcore for the product data, Postgres underneath it, and a TypeScript runtime around it. The full stack, by category.

Notes from the work
Pimcore, internal tools, and the operational problems underneath them. Most of these started as a question a project raised and kept raising.
Pimcore for manufacturers: what it does well, and what it does not
An honest assessment of Pimcore for manufacturers and B2B distributors: where the data object model earns its complexity, where a dedicated DAM is the better call, and when the platform is oversized.
